His tale among the tales

Adam has practically no recollection of anything to do with a family, parents or siblings alike. He doesn't even know if any exist, and the same would go for a place to call home. He just somehow found himself living his life, suddenly in Haven and adventuring like everything was normal. He never questioned these odd circumstances, and doesn't exactly plan to delve for any answers. He was also equipped with the mysterious Scriptura Veritatis, which he doesn't even have an idea how it came into his possession.

It gave him some training in magical knowledge, and along with his sword skills, he had magic alongside him. In the beginning of his days, he was always eager to challenge others to a friendly battle. Although, one day, one battle changed him severely. He made the mistake of challenging a sadist named Yukii, and he made a rather ridiculous bet with the girl. He lost to her very easily, and was now property of Yukii. And immediately, Yukii began to torture him, inflicting pain on Adam, digging her scythe into his flesh and twisting it, forcing him to scream in abject agony.

The first two scars he obtained, rested on both his shoulders, and they would always remind him of what happened. This wasn't the only time however, and whenever Yukii encountered Adam again, he was overcome with pure fear and was toyed with by this sadist. Numerous scars marked his body, but his own mental state was severely damaged, or at the very least, easily broken. He was one day told he was free from her service, but he didn't realize that a sliver of her dark magic remained in him, now becoming his own. But he was unaware that she still technically controlled him, to an extent.

Meeting many friends in Haven, he gradually grew in his abilities, getting stronger and more potent in his magic skills. And soon enough, he started hearing a voice in his head, and he was sure this voice acted as Adam's more lethal and dangerous side, yet it could almost be mistaken for an entirely different entity. One day, he challenged a young girl named Carly, who supposedly was the only individual to have defeated the sadist Yukii. Adam of course challenged her too, and during this fight it became quite apparent this girl was immensely dangerous.

The battle just ended up triggering something dangerous to stir inside Adam, and soon enough the voice broke free, and took control of Adam temporarily. The voice was know as Volquex, and he was Adam's true source of magic, and it provided the purest link to the source of magic in the world. Once Volquex broke free, Adam's true magic potential was released. The details of the fight are very hazy, yet considering how both individuals walked away breathing, it was safe to say it may have been a stalemate, or maybe otherwise. Adam regained control of his thoughts, but he knew well enough Volquex was still there, and that he was a major threat to the world of Haven.

With the book in Adam's hands, the knowledge it provided could have been catastrophic if put into practice by someone powerful enough. The immense power Volquex brought with him, it was now gone, but it was still there, just unable to be used by Adam. One day, he found Elseria Del Dracona, and he was spying to examine exactly just how powerful she was. One wrong move on Adam's part and they were soon engaged in combat, but the majority of fighting took place in the sky as Volquex broke free a second time. Adam's own voice would scream at the back of his head, just wanting someone to stop Volquex.

Soon enough into the battle, Adam was able to regain control, and now stood with Elseria. He needed someone who would be able to stop Volquex if he came out again, and he looked to her for help, and he even wished to be trained by her. She agreed to help him, and they then became bound to each other, signified by the black dragon tattoo on his right arm. He was now granted the title of Lord Adam, and was referred to like this by the dragons of E'Daria. Under certain circumstances, something happened that resulted in Volquex being purged from Adam's thoughts, and then allowed him to be in full control of his true magical potential.

And immediately after, he and Elseria were bound to each other in a rather extraordinary way, their thoughts and emotions felt by each other as if they were one. Elseria made the promise to protect Adam from what he was most afraid of, the sadist who scarred him. Events eventually led up to him adopting a child named Vis, who held a large amount of psychic power. He looked to Elseria, hoping she would help be there for Vis as a mother. She agreed and now they live within a cabin in the woods, the three of them. Adam himself hopes to someday defeat Yukii, bring an end to his fear, and he would hope Elseria would be by his side when the day comes.

Adam and Elseria Del Dracona are soon planning to get married, and hopefully find the time to rest from the chaos that occurs in Haven almost each and every day.
