Anviltron

Age: Unknown

Origin: Lkayuun

Appearance

Anviltron is a slender giant. Its body displays an angular structure with very few curves or creases on the surface. Its head has no facial structure comparable to a common human. It instead uses a series of thin sheets and flaps across the face to produce sound for speech and even display reactions. On its shoulders sit two large pauldrons that conform to its shape nicely, which are even decorated with small spines. Along its chest are features resembling muscles such as pectorals and abdominals but they do not function the same as any muscle.

Its limbs are slightly thinner near the ends, protruding into a simple point on the forearms. Despite this, Anviltron is capable of creating gripping hands or claws when needed. Coupled with its shining exterior, Anviltron could easily be spotted as a bright glimmering pillar on a sunny day. Its sleek design and shape accommodates for swift movement over various terrain with its height of 70 feet tall (21 meters). With its calm nature, Anviltron very much radiates with emotion and light.

Its tale among tales

Long ago, within a realm of endless time and thought, there existed a collective of minds. Drifting within their cosmic soup, they communicated with one another about many things in their lives. Where they traveled, who they had met, and how the weather had affected their emotion. Above all else they talked of their curiosity. Even from within their own realm, they could see across a vast sea of realities existing side by side. With their endless age, they watched for as long as they could remember.

It was not until an idea had sprouted that a wildfire of thought began spreading across the collective. Conversations of travelers began and both hope and doubt followed. Never before have any of their kind left their home. An ancient achievement that would echo for all eternity would be done by the Thos; The First. Now celebrities among their kind, the Thos used their powers to construct massive numbers of objects, gathering into a single outpost where they would descend into this new reality. Before they could do such a thing, suits were created in their own image. These Vessels would hold them safely within, allowing them to interact with the new realm.

As goodbyes were made and promises created, the Thos finally embarked on their quest. Hundreds of thousands focused all of their mental power to leap across the universes. The strain was powerful and possibly fatal, yet their leadership and trust held them together. As a single moment passed, they had all made it. Becoming one with their creations, they had finally arrived within their destination. An entire universe would become their garden. A place to study and discover, and the limits were boundless.

The success of the Thos was greatly celebrated. A new culture had grown around them. A culture that nurtured the idea of travel through realities. This created the inspiration necessary for others to walk in their footsteps. The Lkayuun, The Followers, had become another gathering of travelers to embark on their own journey. Replicating the thing necessary for their journey, the Lkayuun added a new twist to their plans.

Instead of simply recording the knowledge they would gather, they would strive to change what they find.  With this new creed unique to the, many hundreds of thousands of Lkayuun arrived within the new realm. With numerous plans already set in motion, Lkayuun began finding sources of energy and power to manipulate them. In due time they could duplicate the same forces, allowing near limitless abilities within the cosmos. At the same time the Lkayuun have changed their perspective of this new realm. Despite its differences they had so easily mastered it. This mere thought spread like a vile growth within their ranks. Their thoughts becoming more and more corrupted with the passage of time.

To satiate their hunger for power, Lkayuun turned to taking apart entire stars with grand machines built to harvest celestial bodies. Endlessly hungry for more, stars vanished across space. This left even life harboring worlds void of the nurture and care of their mother suns. Such acts were vile enough to catch the attention of the Thos. This resulted in a conflict that lasted far longer than any could remember, but still as bitter to remember.

What were once comrades had become rivals in a war of beings who wielded monumental power. Many lives were extinguished, and their history forgotten. Those less advances were fortunate enough to simply watch as gods made battle within the heavens. Only in due time had the fighting stopped. The universe had become silent once again. None of the travelers could be found but what were left behind were the treasure troves of technology and knowledge, the likes of which that would never be seen again.

Ever since the vanishing of the Lkayuun, many harvesters had still raked the stars for their precious energy. Without the tether of their masters, those that were left took their revenge against the innocent. To find suitable worlds, scouts are sent across the vastness of space, each searching for a world to mark with a beacon, calling forth their master.

One such scout had found a world that was vibrant and teeming with precious minerals. It walked among them, spoke to them, and even had come to fight alongside them. As much as it had become corrupted by this strange world, it stood against the impending doom it had brought upon the unsuspecting people. Now it spends its days watching over this same world. Anviltron acts as a guardian against any more threats or danger that might still lurk far beyond. It is a footnote of a long forgotten race, but still content enough to create its own future.

Skills

Anviltron's body is not soldierly made of metal or machine parts. Instead its body is made up of many trillions of nano-microscopic machines, each also constructed in a highly complex atomic structure. With control over its body, Anviltron can nimbly bend it into whichever shape it chooses. Even with some assimilation, it can even replicate the texture of other substances such as wood or coral. With the proper application, its body is both a shield and a weapon.

Creating long spears from its arms is a favorite of Anviltron. It can throw these shining spears across many miles at astonishing speeds. In conflicts that require closer encounters, it can create blades on its arms that have a fine enough edge to split the bonds between matter. An endless array of choices and tools can be created from its body.

Alongside weapons, it can also create barriers by solidifying its structure. Such formations create nearly unbreakable structures. Only those capable of severing the continuity of this defense would likely harm themselves in the process, making Anviltron a creative combatant.

Other special abilities Anviltron possess outside of combat is heightened sensory. Its vision can be change into a nearly limitless range of ways to perceive energy, sound, light, and everything in between. Its voice can become highly malleable too. With the movement of its face, it can speak on any frequency of sound. If finely focused enough, it can even communicate to those telepathic but the conversation is most of the time one way.

• Heightened Sensory

• Limited Telepathic communication

Weaknesses

While Anviltron can avoid most conflicts, from conversation or its agility, it would require a certain amount of force to fully incapacitate it. Breaking off and isolating sections of its body is one way to decrease its overall effectiveness and result in limited combat ability.

Additionally, Anviltron is susceptible to massive amounts of plasma radiation and the most lethal of energy. With prolonged exposure, Anviltron would become nothing more than a pile of silvery dust.
